Since 2018, we’ve believed one simple thing: that lawyers should be using their brainpower for the big thinking, not contract admin.
That belief hasn’t changed, but a lot has happened since we first said it.
What started as a way to help legal teams take control of contract chaos has grown into something bigger – a system that sits across the tools businesses already use, quietly doing the work that used to eat up a legal team’s day. The admin, the chasing, the explaining – the parts of the job that fill the calendar before the real thinking even starts.
Eight years on, we’ve evolved just as much as the product has, and it’s time our brand reflected that evolution too.
This isn’t a new font or a new color palette. This is a new way of describing what Summize really is.
We’re your contract intelligence system, consisting of three layers that work together to help businesses get the best out of their contract lifecycle:
The key: none of this is new work we’ve started. It’s work we’ve already been doing for years, for hundreds of legal teams. What’s new is that our brand has evolved to really put great legal teams at the heart of the message; because this isn’t about a feature war. It’s about understanding and addressing the real needs of today’s lawyers and expressing that in a way that is simple to understand in a crowded technology market.
Rebrands are easy to be cynical about. They’re often cosmetic – a company changes the way it looks without changing what it actually does.
This one went the other way. The product evolved first, and now our brand has evolved to match it.
We stripped things back to get to one simple idea: what legal teams actually experience when they use Summize – not another system to manage, but a quiet, constant presence that means the answers are there before anyone has to ask.
Our mission is exactly what it’s always been: legal deserves better than being seen as the team that slows things down. We aren’t here to replace legal judgment, but to protect it, so the people who have earned the right to think strategically can actually spend their time doing it.
The team behind the product hasn’t changed either. In-house support, implementation, product build, you name it. People who know legal, know the business and stay close long after go-live – because the best technology in the world only works if the people behind it do too.
That’s not a new idea for us. In fact, it’s the oldest one we have. We just now have a brand sharp enough to say it.
Welcome to the new Summize.
