The role
We’re looking for an experienced, ambitious and determined Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our highly motivated and results-driven sales team, based out of our vibrant Manchester HQ. This is the perfect entry level role into Sales, providing tailored mentoring and development from our Head of Sales Enablement and Account Executives (AEs), as well as fantastic opportunities to progress your career (most of our current AEs are former Summize SDRs).
Our ideal SDR is passionate about solving problems in a scale-up environment through technology and software. You will work in close partnership with our Account Executives in pods, learning about the outbound sales process and your assigned territory from start to finish. You should have good research skills, cold calling experience, copy writing skills, resilience, attention to detail, determination to win, be able to handle objections and confidently dive into social selling!
The aim of the role is to build a strong, consistent stream of high-quality new business pipeline within your assigned territory via calls, emails and LinkedIn social selling. Using your sound knowledge of our company and business offering, you will research potential sales opportunities and conduct high quality conversations with prospects. You will track and qualify both inbound and outbound leads within our CRM system HubSpot. This is a target-based role, meeting daily KPIs, booking quality meetings with prospects that progress into qualified opportunities. You will collaborate with the Account Executives and strive towards meeting team sales targets.

Key responsibilities:
- Build a strong, consistent stream of high-quality new business pipeline within your assigned territory.
- Consistently and accurately use of the CRM system to track and qualify inbound and outbound leads.
- Meet daily KPI’s, book in meetings with prospects and nurture accounts.
- Conduct high quality conversations with prospects through the phone (cold calling), email and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Collaborate with the Account Managers and strive towards meeting team sales targets.
What we’re looking for:
- An experienced SDR/BDR with at least 1 years’ experience in SaaS/Tech
- Highly organised and knows how to prioritise high priority tasks
- Understands how to sell by uncovering pains (no feature selling over here)
- Experience using CRM and sales tools (HubSpot, Cognism, SalesNav or similar)
- Resilient and agile, has the ability to put feedback into action quickly
- Doesn’t shy away from cold calling, social selling or taking videos
- Ability to face rejection and not be fazed
- Target driven and understand how to leverage data to get ahead
- The ability to build strong relationships across key stakeholders
- Passionate about solving problems through technology and software
- Resilient and have a positive, can do, approach to work
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced scale-up environment
- Bonus points if you have experience with ABM/ABS prospecting
